beryoon
esfahan's most famous traditional food is beryan, which is a delicious compilation of bread, two different types of roasted meat and flavoring.

better to be ' '
a dear friend has left a comment for 'parallel dreams' asking about possible interrelations between the photo and its title.
i. first of all, whenever i photograph all i do is just to press a small button and don't think about title or even subject or anything. thus every time i wanna publish one, i have the description problem. what should i call it? what does this photo say? something or nothing?
ii. by the way for 'parallel dreams', contrary to what i wrote under the photo, it wasn't about hafez but that man itself and the title came to my mind later with no particular reason. if hafez was the main subject, probably 'the book of secrets' was a better title, wasn't it?
iii. in case my simple and ultra-ordinary photos are interpretable, and to be honest i don't think they really are, i don't want to explain my doings cause i always like to cover what they may convey. i think it won't be good if i explain whatever i think cause it sounds like instructions on how to watch and i don't like that.
iv. you're one of the only three whom i gave them this url and i'm very pleased to see you here. so thanks for coming jk!

the disorderly orderly
"instead of photographing those meaningless stuff, you better take a photo from your room and let everybody in the world know what a poor mom i am!"
and this is my - after rearrangement - desk. it was primarily my mother's idea to take it but since it was hardly possible to capture my room, my desk could be assumed as a prototype :p

gotta be crazy
i was very close to him and taking my photo quite secretly. this is the third photo i took. for the first one, i didn't notice that i had set the flash mode on 'auto'. in this mode the camera itself decides whether to use flash or not. also, it first does a pre-flash which is used to adjust the flash light quantity. so when i pressed shutter button it flashed two or three times quickly and then, finally, the actual powerful and surprising strobe light!! you know, our distance was about a meter or two and suddenly i became absolutely transfixed, thought to myself: "gotta get out again man!"
over. fortunately he was in his very good mood yesterday and simply ignored me. when the class finished he just smiled at me, and i smiled in return. thank you mr. abedsalimi!

aziz
its now 7 days since i bought a digital still camera. before, i took my pictures with my cell phone's camera (i have a nokia 7610) and uploaded good ones to yahoo! 360. i'll gradually transfer 'em here (cuz i didnt like yahoo stuff from the beginning) and whenever i publish a photo has been taken with my cell phone i'll notify. anyway, this is one of those 'old' ones.
we all call her aziz (means 'darling'). she is almost 90 and the hierarchical order is: me, my mother, her father, her.
